This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive export operations, encompassing documentation, classification, carrier coordination, and claims resolution.

• Ensure adherence to U.S. and international import/export regulations, manage hazardous and lithium battery shipments with precision, and collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to enhance transit efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Prepare customs invoices, commercial documentation, and shipping labels for export orders.

• Classify products and assign export codes (HTS/Export Control) in conjunction with OEMs and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor shipments from origin to destination and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.

• Conduct denied party and sanctions screenings on every export, escalating potential issues for further review.

• Promptly create, file, and resolve freight claims and disputes.

• Provide quotes for international shipping fees, duties, and taxes related to export orders; verify carrier invoices and maintain an invoice tracking system.

• Collaborate daily with DHL, FedEx, UPS, freight forwarders, and trade agents to secure capacity and competitive pricing.

• Keep abreast of changes in global trade regulations and recommend process or policy modifications to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in global logistics, international shipping, supply chain operations, or similar analytical roles.

• In-depth understanding of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR as applicable), customs documentation, HTS classification, and international trade terms (INCOTERMS).

• Proven experience in tracking international shipments and collaborating with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

• Familiarity with global trade requirements, including duties, VAT, import/export documentation, and regulatory considerations.

• Experience in supporting multiple stakeholders within a fast-paced operational environment.

• Demonstrated capability to analyze data, identify issues, and resolve execution-level challenges efficiently.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, education, and/or military service.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities concurrently.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey status updates and issues effectively.

• Highly organized and process-oriented, with a strong commitment to follow-through.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.

• Proficient in business tools such as Excel, order management systems, and collaboration platforms.
