
Global Legal Project and Value Pricing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
β’ Oversee the annual budget development and monitoring for intricate, value-based fee agreements, ensuring immediate visibility into financial outcomes.
β’ Serve as the main financial collaborator with Partners and client stakeholders regarding budget formulation, expenditure optimization, and fee agreements.
β’ Create, manage, and report on multi-jurisdictional matter budgets in collaboration with the Global Billing Coordinator, ensuring adherence to client OCGs.
β’ Manage the comprehensive project lifecycle for extensive, cross-border client initiatives across more than 50 countries, providing clear governance and reporting.
β’ Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (including internal lawyers, local counsel, ALSPs, and technology) across various time zones and workstreams.
β’ Proactively identify and address project risks, scheduling conflicts, and resource shortages.
β’ Support client relationship management through consistent reporting, governance meetings, and preparation of materials for partner and executive discussions.
β’ Draft communications and presentations for leadership with comprehensive strategic analysis and insights.
β’ Recognize, implement, and integrate AI-driven and legal technology solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and matter management.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management/pricing and legal project management within a law firm, in-house legal department, or ALSP setting.
β’ Profound knowledge in legal matter budgeting, alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), compliance with outside counsel guidelines, and/or legal financial reporting.
β’ Outstanding communication skills, capable of preparing and presenting information to senior client and firm leadership.
β’ High level of proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, CoPilot (or similar), and AI tools for project management and workflow.

β’ Proven experience in managing multi-jurisdictional legal budgets with significant budgetary responsibility.
β’ Background in dedicated client service or embedded legal operations roles.
β’ Familiarity with cross-border regulatory, M&A, or commercial matters.
β’ Working knowledge of legal AI platforms such as Harvey, Legora, or similar tools.
β’ The compensation and benefits package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience and the country of employment.
