Global IT Security Expert – OT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Lead the secure design and lifecycle management of operational technology (OT) environments such as ICS, SCADA, PLC, DCS, and HMI.

• Define and execute OT/IT segmentation in accordance with the Purdue Model.

• Oversee global security operations, encompassing incident response and escalation processes.

• Collaborate with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) and internal teams for threat detection and response.

• Support essential security domains, including Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Security Awareness.

• Drive initiatives for security architecture and transformation across hybrid environments.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK.

• Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and clients.

• Assess and enhance security tools, particularly in OT platforms like Armis, Claroty, Dragos, and Darktrace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.

• 5–10 years of experience in IT/OT security or a comparable field.

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of industry frameworks and standards, including ISA/IEC 62443 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

• Experience with endpoint and infrastructure security.

• Knowledge of cloud security solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365).

• Familiarity with key security domains and tools including DLP, CASB, SIEM, PAM, and Vulnerability Management.

• Experience with security awareness solutions like KnowBe4.
