Global IT Manager – Automotive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global IT roadmap that aligns with corporate and automotive business objectives.

• Propel digital transformation initiatives including data platforms, traceability, and robotic process automation (RPA).

• Supervise the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

• Direct IT operations across global sites.

• Oversee global IT infrastructure, including cloud environments (AWS, Azure, hybrid), networks, data centers, and end-user systems.

• Define and uphold cybersecurity policies and frameworks.

• Establish a global data strategy and governance structure.

• Manage relationships with global IT vendors, system integrators, and outsourcing partners.

• Oversee global IT budgets and strategic investment planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10–15+ years of experience in the IT sector.

• At least 5 years in a leadership position.

• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in managing global IT operations and executing large-scale programs.

• Proficiency in enterprise systems, including SAP (S/4HANA), MES, and PLM.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management practices.

• Experience with IT service management (ITIL).

• Understanding of enterprise architecture (TOGAF preferred).

• Experience with data platforms and analytics tools.
