This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and uphold a multi-year global HR technology roadmap that aligns with Fortifi's organizational growth strategy.
• Define the enterprise HR technology vision and long-term system architecture across all business units.
• Lead digital transformation efforts within Human Resources, incorporating AI, machine learning, and process automation.
• Assess emerging HR technologies and employee experience platforms; propose technology investments based on business cases and ROI analysis.
• Create annual strategic objectives and KPIs for HR technology; act as the executive sponsor for HR technology initiatives.
• Establish and maintain governance for HR technology at the enterprise level, including standards for system configuration, change management, production releases, security administration, data ownership, and workflow governance.
• Facilitate the prioritization of system enhancements by executives, including new module implementations, system upgrades, and global deployments.
• Drive organizational operational excellence by eliminating manual processes, enhancing automation, simplifying workflows, and standardizing global business processes across all Fortifi business units.
• Advocate for Lean methodologies and continuous process improvement within the HR technology function.
• Develop enterprise standards to ensure accurate and consistent workforce information across all business units and countries.
• Lead the enterprise workforce reporting strategy by creating executive dashboards and business intelligence to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership to develop enterprise KPI scorecards.
• Work alongside Global Payroll leadership to support enterprise payroll operations through precise system configuration and data governance.
• Provide strategic oversight for benefit technology, covering carrier integrations, eligibility rules, open enrollment, life event processing, ACA support, global benefits administration, vendor interfaces, and benefit data audits.
• Ensure HR technology adheres to relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, ACA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA reporting, SOX controls, country-specific labor regulations, and global record retention requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and Information Security during compliance reviews to ensure that all HR systems meet corporate cybersecurity standards.
• Lead HR technology workstreams for mergers and acquisitions, encompassing HR technology due diligence, data conversion strategy, organizational design, payroll setup, security provisioning, historical data migration, integration testing, benefit eligibility, and go-live planning.
• Drive post-acquisition optimization to ensure that newly integrated business units conform to Fortifi's enterprise HR technology standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive HRIS leadership experience, including at least 5 years managing enterprise HR technology teams.
• More than 10 years of specific experience with UKG, encompassing system architecture, company creation, security configuration, workflow configuration, business rule configuration, employee data configuration, job architecture, compensation configuration, benefits configuration, payroll configuration, Time and Attendance configuration, Performance Management configuration, learning platform configuration, compliance configuration, and audit and reporting configuration.
• Proven experience in implementing enterprise UKG Pro platforms.
• Experience in supporting multinational organizations and leading global HRIS transformations.
• Background in HR technology integration during mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, HR operations, and workforce data management.
• Demonstrated skills in executive presentation and communication.
• In-depth understanding of compliance requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, ACA, and global labor regulations.
