This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Accountable for spearheading the global medical sales strategy and overseeing the creation of medical schemes within SGS Medical Devices, which includes conducting market analysis and pricing (both internally and externally).
• Directing the Business Development Team in Global Medical while indirectly supervising the Sales Team in the Delivering offices (DOs) and Hubs, focusing on medical schemes.
• Ensures consistent alignment with business objectives, nurtures business growth, enhances client relationships, and fortifies SGS’s market presence across all medical schemes and DOs and Hubs.
• Connects commercial goals with the changing regulatory environment, promoting innovation in service offerings and strategic alliances.
• Proactively manage global sales planning and execution across all medical schemes, DOs, and Hubs through indirect reporting structures.
• Work closely with DOs and Hubs to ensure the attainment of their Medical growth and sales objectives.
• Actively lead external forums, conferences, and industry events to boost brand visibility and establish industry leadership, including representing SGS at these occasions.
• Identify strategic alliances and emerging market prospects to foster sustainable growth.
• Maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to regulatory and accreditation readiness initiatives.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles within the medical device TIC sector.
• A minimum of 5 years in leadership positions related to sales, business development, or comparable roles.
• Proven expertise in global sales strategy, business development, and execution in the medical device sales and marketing arena.
• Familiarity with MDR/IVDR and international regulatory standards.
• Experience in scheme development, product positioning, and conducting market analysis.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated capability to work proactively and independently, taking complete ownership of objectives and delivering results promptly.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational and change management skills.
• Solid commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the TIC industry.
• Knowledge of conformity assessment procedures and Notified Body operations.
• Multilingual proficiency and cross-cultural experience.
