This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

• Lead the development and implementation of global engineering strategies for automation and equipment systems within distribution centers.

• Manage comprehensive engineering programs from initial concept through to implementation, go-live, and operational stabilization.

• Supervise engineering workstreams for both greenfield and brownfield distribution center projects.

• Direct the design, specification, and deployment of automation and material handling equipment.

• Establish operational requirements and assist in the deployment of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) for automated environments.

• Collaborate with J&J Technology (JJT, ISRM) to ensure smooth integration with enterprise systems.

• Create governance frameworks for engineering initiatives and capital projects.

• Enhance engineering capabilities across global, regional, and site teams.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, automation, or distribution systems.

• Demonstrated success in warehouse automation and material handling systems.

• Experience in executing large-scale capital projects (DC constructions, upgrades).

• Proficiency in equipment specification, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and lifecycle management.

• Preferred experience in regulated environments (GMP, medical devices, pharmaceuticals).

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related technical field) is required.
