This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Establish OCH's core strategic communications and public-influence capability.
• Outline the characteristics of effective Air Game work throughout the network.
• Collaborate directly with country teams in the initial phase to formulate their strategies.
• Create a network-wide spokesperson methodology.
• Develop a rapid-response capability to ensure credible local voices can contribute to relevant breaking stories promptly.
• Construct shared infrastructure for narrative testing, media monitoring, intelligence gathering, and cross-network learning.
• Position OCH's voices, narratives, and data for a media landscape shaped by AI.
• Assist country teams in identifying and nurturing relationships with outlets, validators, think tanks, creators, and platforms that engage their audiences.
• Take the lead in formulating crisis response protocols.
• Oversee a budget primarily aimed at enhancing capacity and skills throughout the network.
• Expertise in senior strategic communications judgment.
• Credibility as a media operator.
• An instinct for building and developing networks.
• An orientation towards coaching.
• Fluency in political matters.
• Skills in network orchestration.
• Knowledge of AI and changes in the media landscape.
• Suitable temperament for the role.
