This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Formulate and implement sourcing and category management strategies that align with both global and regional business goals.
• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork with property teams, EHS, manufacturing, AME, engineering, quality, and essential business stakeholders to ensure cohesive decision-making and efficient project execution.
• Oversee supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Perform market and industry analysis, benchmarking, and competitive assessments to support strategic sourcing choices.
• Initiate projects aimed at cost savings, risk reduction, operational stability, and sustainability.
• Lead or assist in supplier transitions, audits, capability assessments, and performance reviews.
• Track category performance metrics and apply continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guarantee compliance with internal policies, quality systems, governance frameworks, and legal obligations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members or direct reports to foster capability development and high performance.
• Participate in and contribute to global and regional sourcing programs, transformation efforts, and strategic initiatives.
• Significant experience in Sourcing or Category Management, with knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated success in Indirect Sourcing, including capital equipment, services, or related categories.
• Proven experience in leading global sourcing and category management efforts, encompassing strategy formulation, supplier selection, and execution across various regions.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, including SOWs, pricing frameworks, commercial terms, and supplier agreements that yield optimal results.
• Established people-leadership experience, including managing, developing, and mentoring direct reports or project teams to achieve exceptional performance.
• Strong capability to function effectively within a matrixed organization, utilizing analytics and insights to build business cases, influence senior leadership, and instigate change.
• Proficient in developing intricate RFx packages, should-cost models, scorecards, and award criteria.
• Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management expertise, with the capacity to document, plan, execute, and communicate programs effectively.
• High adaptability, urgency, and integrity, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and engage with global stakeholders outside of standard business hours when required.
