
Global Carbon Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Overseeing the operations of the FarmCarbon fund, with a focus on enhancing standard operating procedures and reporting methodologies.
• Managing relationships with FarmCarbon investors, ensuring reporting is timely, comprehensive, and of high quality.
• Assisting in fundraising efforts through initial structuring, due diligence, negotiations, documentation, and closing processes.
• Taking ownership of the FarmCarbon financial model and ensuring it meets the standards required by sophisticated investors.
• Creating and maintaining financial planning and decision-support tools, including project financial models, NPV calculators, and risk assessments.
• Supporting commercial contracting for FarmCarbon by reviewing and structuring ERPAs to meet FarmCarbon's requirements.
• Leading the legal development and structuring of strategic partnerships, implementation agreements, and carbon offtake contracts for FarmCarbon.
• Coordinating internal meetings for the carbon team to align on priorities and strategies, and sharing key outcomes across the organization to enhance visibility and coordination.
• A Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or corporate finance, particularly in carbon or impact financing.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and asset valuation techniques.
• Proven success in managing intricate financing processes involving multiple stakeholders across international markets.
• A strong grasp of voluntary and compliance carbon markets, carbon standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional project management abilities, with the capability to manage numerous priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, with the ability to articulate complex finance and carbon market topics to varied audiences.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices and project sites.
