This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Engage with patients to discuss their benefits, coverage options, and financial choices.
• Execute procedures related to benefit verification and prior authorization.
• Offer continuous financial education and support to our patients throughout their care journey.
• Manage patient accounts by collecting, documenting, and updating personal financial and insurance details.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a medical business office setting.
• Solid understanding of healthcare billing and collections, insurance/benefits, and patient engagement.
• Must possess experience in interpreting payer remittance advice.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience in an OB/GYN office is advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented and proficient with technology.
• Skilled in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A high level of customer service is essential.
