GIS Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lebanon.

📋 Description

• Execute activities related to the geographic information system (GIS) program

• Leverage GIS hardware and software to generate maps, spatial databases, and thematic data

• Conduct basic spatial analyses

• Support the creation and maintenance of geographic information systems that utilize or enhance geospatial base-map information

• Generate, modify, correct, convert, and disseminate base maps and thematic data

• Digitize and preserve spatial databases

• Record procedures, verify data for precision and completeness, fill out approved metadata forms, and produce maps based on the resulting data

• Assess information and data from external sources to evaluate data quality

⛳️ Requirements

• ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise/Server experience is essential

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases is required

• At least 3 years of experience with Map Services and publishing Map Services is necessary

• 2 years of Python scripting experience is preferred

• 1 year of experience with ArcGIS Pro is desired

• 2 years of related experience is required
