📋 Description

• The GIS & Market Analyst plays a vital role within the Insights & Analytics team, tasked with providing market intelligence, geospatial analytics, and location-based insights that facilitate strategic decision-making throughout the organization.

• This position utilizes GIS technologies, location intelligence platforms, internal and external data sources, as well as innovative analytical tools to generate actionable insights that guide leasing, marketing, investments, development, and various other enterprise initiatives.

• The GIS & Market Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Tanger's geospatial data assets, creating analytical tools and visualizations, and converting complex data into impactful business recommendations.

• This role is expected to harness emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and automation tools, to enhance research efficiency, expedite insight generation, improve reporting capabilities, and foster continuous innovation, all while keeping a primary focus on market intelligence, geospatial analysis, and support for business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree in geography, GIS, urban planning, or a related business field (such as Marketing, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Management Science, Engineering, or Economics) along with GIS experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS, including proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Business Analyst.

• A solid understanding and experience in business analytics, with proficient application of traditional research methodologies.

• Familiarity with the shopping center or retail industry.

• Experience utilizing AI-driven research, analytics, automation, or productivity tools to enhance research, reporting, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
