GIS Developer Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop GIS services in C# utilizing advanced geospatial packages and APIs.

• Implement and sustain functionalities using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript version 4.x.

• Create secure integrations with Salesforce employing JWT authentication.

• Assist in cloud deployments within AKS and facilitate service migration to Azure Functions.

• Write unit tests and ensure robust unit-testing coverage for code quality and reliability.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, architecture, and data teams to provide scalable GIS solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and code reviews utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or Dual Citizen (eligible for Public Trust).

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or 9+ years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor's degree.

• Proficient in C# and .NET development.

• Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.x and geospatial libraries (such as NetTopologySuite).

• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and JWT authentication.

• Familiarity with Azure, AKS, containers, and YAML-based deployment workflows.

• Exposure to Azure Functions and event-driven/serverless architectures.

• Comfortable working with GitHub and utilizing GitHub Actions.
