This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Act as the trip leader: guide a small group of travelers (typically 4–12 individuals) on 2–3 week, all-encompassing itineraries, remaining with the group as the trip host and company representative.
• Deliver clear, engaging insights about the destinations we explore and share your passion for Vietnam.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers if any issues arise during the trip.
• Ensure the safety of our travelers while overseeing seamless tour operations.
• In certain instances, manage company cash payments with local partners.
• Ensure that the services provided by our partners adhere to our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Foster a positive and enjoyable experience, creating memorable moments with travelers from German-speaking countries.
• A passion for showcasing authentic Vietnamese culture and connecting travelers with local communities.
• Advanced proficiency in German for effective client communication.
• A Vietnamese national holding an official Tour Guide license (All-country license).
• In-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s history, traditions, daily life, and contemporary issues.
• A solid understanding of German culture and current affairs.
• Good English communication skills (preferred but not mandatory).
• Highly engaged, dependable, and well-organized.
• Open, cheerful, service-oriented, with a positive demeanor.
• Treat clients as more than just customers—like friends—and ensure they receive the best possible experience.
• Maintain composure under pressure, adhere to protocols in special circumstances, and offer flexible solutions when necessary.
• A keen interest in sustainable, local, and authentic travel.
• Prior experience is preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• A comprehensive training and development program covering languages, history & culture, new destinations & travel products, safety, and sustainability.
