This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Oversee activities at job sites to ensure adherence to relevant contract documents (such as technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, and CQA plans);
• Conduct regular monitoring of active construction sites;
• Generate daily field reports, weekly field reports, and progress reports;
• Verify that project documentation is accurate and aligns with company policies and procedures;
• Engage with project personnel (including contractors, project managers, engineers, and clients) and help foster an integrated team approach through open communication and participation in work progress meetings;
• Follow and comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans and the company's Environmental Health and Safety Management policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED along with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, or a Diploma or equivalent from a two-year college with at least four (4) years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering with two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and technical experience.
• Technical expertise in site investigation, construction quality assurance, and/or construction management procedures for marine, geotechnical, and coastal projects.
• Capability to monitor various types of construction activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.).
• Exceptional writing abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 20 kilograms unaided and 21-45 kilograms with assistance and/or appropriate engineering controls.
• Ability to speak and hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Strong eagerness to work outdoors combined with an interest in building a career in the engineering consulting sector.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating self-motivation and a robust work ethic.
• Valid United Arab Emirates driver’s license.
