General Practitioner (Family Medicine) – Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Conduct telemedicine consultations in primary health care for acute conditions for patients of all ages, whether they are residents in Portugal or Portuguese citizens living abroad.

• Respond to patients referred by SNS24 through telemedicine.

• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, which includes, but is not limited to, recording consultations, documenting consultation diagnoses, and completing telemedicine-specific forms.

• Ensure that all telemedicine-related clinical procedures are performed correctly, which includes, but is not limited to, electronic prescribing of medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and issuing medical certificates/declarations.

• Advocate for healthy living and enhance community health literacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialists in General and Family Medicine (Eliminatory requirement).

• Active registration with the Portuguese Medical Association (Ordem dos Médicos).

• Clinical experience in managing patients with both acute and chronic conditions.

• Proficient in utilizing digital platforms.

• Ability to communicate with empathy and focus on patient-centered care.

• Availability to work shifts during the following hours:

• - Monday to Friday: Between 08:00 and 18:00.

• - Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: Between 08:00 and 14:00.
