This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Complete accountability for business performance, which includes:
• Growth in revenue
• Gross margin and contribution margin
• Utilization and profitability of services
• Accuracy and predictability of forecasts
• Develop and manage the business using data, metrics, and financial models
• Consistently assess performance drivers and implement corrective measures based on:
• Unit economics
• Efficiency of the funnel
• Attachment of services, margin, and capacity utilization
• Identify and act upon the most impactful financial and operational levers to enhance growth and profitability
• Own and implement the go-to-market strategy across both direct and partner-assisted sales approaches
• Direct revenue planning, quota setting, and capacity modeling efforts
• Create a robust operating discipline regarding:
• Coverage, quality, and velocity of the pipeline
• Conversion rates and productivity in sales
• Inspection of forecasts and management of variances
• Recruit, nurture, and hold accountable high-performing sales leaders and frontline managers
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to translate market and service signals into:
• Prioritization of the roadmap
• Messaging and packaging suitable for enterprise readiness
• Establish executive-level relationships with strategic customers and partners
• Serve as the primary business advocate within Idera leadership, effectively communicating performance, risks, and opportunities through data.
• Over 5 years of experience in B2B software
• Extensive senior leadership experience in revenue, sales, or general management roles
• Proven analytical and financial expertise, including:
• Comfort in owning a profit and loss statement
• Deep understanding of SaaS and service unit economics
• Capability to diagnose performance challenges using data and financial models
• Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling professional services teams within a software organization
• History of integrating services into go-to-market strategies to drive measurable software growth
• Strong inclination for action, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous, performance-oriented settings.
