This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee the weekly operational rhythm: sales pipeline, customer health, delivery, staffing, cash flow, receivables, priorities, and obstacles.
• Take responsibility for revenue, retention, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and fundamental P&L performance.
• Engage with customers to comprehend their purchasing motivations, retention factors, frustrations, and potential for growth.
• Streamline the sales process: lead tracking, follow-ups, pricing strategies, proposals, close rates, renewals, referrals, and account expansions.
• Directly manage the team by establishing clear expectations, coaching, hiring as needed, and making difficult personnel decisions when necessary.
• Outline the company's essential workflows from lead generation to cash collection: how work is received, assigned, delivered, how customers are billed, and identify breaking points.
• Discover initial practical AI/process enhancements, such as call summaries, customer follow-ups, quote generation, document processing, CRM maintenance, reporting, scheduling, collections, internal knowledge retrieval, or repetitive administrative tasks.
• Implement straightforward tools and workflows that employees find beneficial and easy to use.
• Develop dashboards and weekly reports that illustrate business activity without relying on founder intuition.
• Collaborate with Aviara on budgeting, hiring, pricing adjustments, tuck-in opportunities, and the initial 100-day operational strategy.
• Foster trust with the team, founder/seller, customers, and key local stakeholders.
• Gain insights into the business by actively participating in work rather than merely reviewing reports.
• Create a straightforward operational diagnostic: revenue drivers, customer segments, team strengths/weaknesses, margin leaks, process bottlenecks, cash flow challenges, and AI/process opportunities.
• Set up a weekly business review alongside a concise list of measurable priorities.
• Rapidly address a few obvious issues without compromising the organizational culture.
• 3-8 years of experience in operations, sales leadership, business operations, startups, consulting, private equity portfolio management, search funds, local services, or entrepreneurship.
• Proven track record of owning outcomes rather than merely advising on them.
• Strong commercial instincts; you are proactive in selling, following up, engaging with customers, and requesting payments.
• Comfortable managing people directly and holding the team to high standards.
• Basic financial literacy: revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, receivables, pricing, utilization, headcount, and working capital.
• Proficient in both Spanish and English for roles in Argentina and Latin America.
• High agency and low ego; you are willing to tackle challenging tasks yourself before delegating.
• Comfortable employing AI tools practically to minimize administrative workloads, enhance follow-ups, and streamline business operations.
• Flexible work arrangements
