This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute business strategies to enhance the portfolio company’s footprint in its specific vertical market.
• Identify and explore new market opportunities (such as target segments, geographical areas, and partnerships).
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with revenue, user growth, customer satisfaction, retention, and operational efficiency.
• Supervise daily operations, including product deployment, customer onboarding, support, compliance, and client fulfillment.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory requirements pertinent to the vertical market.
• Manage resource allocation—staffing, budgets, workflows—to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Build, lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams (including sales, customer success, product support, operations, and possibly development).
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, and collaboration.
• Ensure an outstanding customer experience from onboarding through ongoing utilization and support.
• Sustain relationships with key clients and serve as an escalation point for strategic or critical matters.
• Take ownership of the company’s profit & loss (P&L), budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Collaborate closely with product teams (or external vendors) to ensure the portfolio company’s solution(s) remain competitive, relevant, and in line with evolving regulations and customer requirements.
• Ensure that the portfolio company’s service delivery complies with relevant regulations and standards in staffing, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Demonstrated experience as a General Manager or in a senior executive leadership role, ideally within SaaS/software or healthcare information technology.
• Strong comprehension of software development, technology trends, and market dynamics.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth through direct sales, strategic channel partnerships, and other business development initiatives to meet financial objectives.
• An experienced business leader and visionary with a solid track record of coaching others to achieve corporate goals.
• Ability to articulate broad strategic objectives effectively.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience and understanding of the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in a leadership context, to influence and motivate others.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
