General Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Drive the execution of the market strategy plan for Taiwan, which includes implementing the business plan that encompasses regulatory setup, partnerships, distribution, and growth strategies.

• Supervise the acquisition of the essential regulatory licenses and approvals necessary for operating within the Taiwanese insurance market.

• Collaborate with both internal and external legal and compliance teams to ensure continuous compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with insurers, underwriting partners, and ecosystem participants within the Taiwan market.

• Negotiate commercial partnerships, product distribution agreements, and integration arrangements.

• Develop a robust product lineup from insurer partners to ensure competitive offerings in the marketplace.

• Spearhead the platform launch by closely collaborating with product and engineering teams to create features, integrations, and customer journeys.

• Propel product iteration and execution to enhance product–market fit.

• Establish efficient operating processes, rhythms, and reporting structures to support significant growth and operational excellence.

• Represent the group in interactions with insurers, regulators, partners, media, and key stakeholders.

• Build and lead a high-performing team that fosters a strong ownership culture and an execution-oriented mindset.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology enterprises.

• Highly analytical, focused on execution, and adept at functioning in fast-paced, dynamic, high-intensity environments.

• Proven experience in managing commercial performance, driving revenue growth, and forming partnerships.

• Strong leadership skills with a background in building and managing cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with the Taiwan insurance market, regulatory landscape, and distribution environment is an advantage.
