This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Ensure the secure provision of exceptional culinary and hospitality services in a remote setting.
• Responsible for effective financial management, encompassing operational forecasts, food and labor targets, and cost control measures.
• Support Front Line Managers to surpass the financial objectives of the operation.
• Oversee the implementation of Operational Programs and the Executional Framework.
• Ensure adherence to the Scope of Work (SOW) for the site, reporting any gaps to the District Manager or designated individual on a weekly basis.
• Accountable for fostering a culture that prioritizes safety as a core value.
• Ensure the completion of inventory and site health and safety audits, maintaining records in compliance with ARAMARK, government, and accrediting agency standards.
• Guarantee that the necessary sanitation and safety standards in respective areas are upheld.
• Foster partnerships between Front Line Managers, office/support staff, and clients.
• Continuously review service provision while exploring opportunities to introduce new products and amenities to fulfill client needs.
• Discover innovative methods to cultivate partnerships with local communities.
• Engage in the recruitment, development, and retention of the front line team.
• Inspire, train, and oversee hourly employees and supervisors on programs and procedures such as Customer Service, Culinary Excellence, and Waste Management.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
• Over 5 years of Management/Leadership experience, preferably in remote camp or hotel/hospitality sectors.
• More than 2 years of culinary experience, ideally in remote camp or hotel/hospitality environments.
• Business Diploma or certificate from a recognized Post-Secondary Institution.
• Advanced Food Safe Certifications are required.
• First Aid Certification is considered an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is necessary.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both under supervision and independently.
• Strong skills in prioritization and time management.
