This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Take the lead in developing the Czech market, serving as the local business owner.
• Promote and exemplify a culture of collaboration and accountability to align with the strategic plan as well as related KPIs and milestones throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with Core leadership to define and implement the go-to-market strategy.
• Recruit and manage the local team across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Community, and Mentors.
• Drive student acquisition and revenue growth through effective Sales execution and tailored Marketing initiatives.
• Shape and enhance the local product offerings based on market insights and commercial success.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance for the Czech market.
• Take ownership of the country P&L and provide regular performance updates to the leadership team.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure stability and resilience.
• Collaborate with Core teams (Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations) to facilitate smooth execution.
• Establish partnerships and represent the company locally with partners, media, and industry stakeholders.
• Launch courses, track performance, and quickly adapt based on market feedback.
• Identify bottlenecks, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Address media inquiries and conduct interviews.
• A commercially savvy builder, rather than a traditional corporate manager.
• Reside in the Czech Republic and possess deep knowledge of the local market.
• Exceptional communication skills in Czech, with proficiency in English.
• Solid background in sales, business development, or revenue-focused roles.
• A commercial mindset, high energy, and determination.
• Highly motivated and ambitious.
• Comfortable working in startup settings.
• Experience interacting with Boards of Directors, major donors, foundations, state and local officials, and the media.
• Financial literacy and experience in budget management.
• Background in Risk management, including compliance with information security and business continuity protocols.
• A natural leader capable of inspiring and motivating teams.
• Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented (addresses issues rather than waiting for instructions).
• Determined, resilient, and able to overcome challenges.
• Someone who thrives on building initiatives rather than merely maintaining them.
• Experience in education, training, or digital learning is an advantage.
