• Act as a reliable advisor to client leadership and VHA stakeholders, offering practical, mission-oriented support.
• Strategize, oversee, and implement enterprise-level healthcare transformation projects from inception to execution.
• Lead and participate in several simultaneous projects, swiftly establishing structure, scope, and execution plans.
• Collaborate across VHA program offices, field operations, and external partners to align objectives, manage dependencies, and drive decision-making.
• Utilize program management, industrial engineering, and healthcare systems engineering principles to create safe, comprehensive, and efficient solutions.
• Provide enterprise program and project management services, often influenced by legislation, policy shifts, and executive guidance.
• Identify and handle risks, resource limitations, and budget considerations amidst competing priorities.
• Generate high-quality, executive-ready deliverables that inform decisions and further mission outcomes.
• Adjust quickly as priorities change, delivering concierge-level support to leadership and program teams.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in management consulting, healthcare transformation, or federal health programs.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include PMP, Prosci, Lean, and Human-Centered Design, or similar qualifications.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) at an advanced level.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting Veterans Health Administration or federal healthcare initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Strong capability in program and project management with experience in leading complex, multi-stakeholder efforts.
• Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in engaging senior government leaders.
• Highly organized, systematic, and proactive with exceptional follow-through.
• A proactive doer who achieves results without the need for constant direction.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Trusted executive-level advisory expertise.
• Coordinate across VHA program offices, field operations, and executive leadership.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders and build consensus.
• Create high-quality briefings, decision papers, and presentations for senior leaders.
• Up to 10% travel to Washington D.C.
