This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

• Oversee a portfolio of General Liability claims, which includes exposures related to construction defects.

• Conduct thorough investigations of claims to ascertain liability, damages, and coverage implications.

• Collect and evaluate claim documents, reports, contracts, and other relevant evidence.

• Engage in communication with insured parties, claimants, attorneys, contractors, experts, and clients throughout the claims handling process.

• Assess claim exposure and formulate effective resolution strategies.

• Negotiate settlements and strive for prompt, cost-effective resolutions of claims.

• Maintain precise documentation and management of claims files.

• Ensure adherence to relevant state regulations, licensing obligations, and client service standards.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience managing General Liability claims; experience with construction defects is preferred.

• Knowledge of state-specific regulations regarding claims handling and licensing requirements.

• Capability to investigate, assess, negotiate, and settle liability claims effectively.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
