General Liability Claims Adjuster – Construction Defect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of General Liability claims, with a focus on construction defect exposures.

• Conduct investigations into claims to assess liability, damages, and implications for coverage.

• Collect and evaluate claim-related documentation, reports, contracts, and other supporting materials.

• Maintain communication with insured parties, claimants, attorneys, contractors, experts, and clients throughout the claims process.

• Assess claim exposure and formulate suitable resolution strategies.

• Negotiate settlements and strive for timely and cost-effective resolutions of claims.

• Keep precise records and manage claim files effectively.

• Ensure adherence to relevant state regulations, licensing requirements, and client service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience managing General Liability claims; experience with construction defects is preferred.

• Knowledge of state-specific regulations and licensing requirements related to claims handling.

• Competence in investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving liability claims.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

• Capability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
