This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage claims efficiently while ensuring adherence to standards of accuracy, customer service, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.
• Act as the company's representative in engagements with members, agents, and internal teams within underwriting, product management, and finance.
• Address claims and respond to inquiries from members, agents, vendors (including independent adjusters/appraisers, salvage, rental, and car agencies), as well as defense and plaintiff attorneys.
• Handle the first notice of loss and claim assignments.
• Assess coverage, evaluate damages, establish reserves, and resolve claims.
• Oversee subrogation on concluded files.
• Evaluate and appraise new risks, and participate in Catastrophe planning; authorized to make coverage determinations, manage reserves, resolve claims, and provide status updates to agents, members, and vendors, along with making reserve decisions on individual files and processing payments for loss costs or loss adjustment expenses.
• The individual may be required to enter and inspect damaged buildings and climb ladders to evaluate roof damage.
• 7-10+ years of experience in property and casualty claims.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must maintain state adjuster licenses and CE credits as mandated by state regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Strong skills in relationship management and customer service.
• Capability to inspect and evaluate properties.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to travel consistently within an assigned territory to visit members' homes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, listening, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and proficient problem-solving skills; skilled in Excel, Word, and web applications.
• Ability to demonstrate integrity, foster team spirit and enthusiasm, and build trust and credibility.
