General Accounting Specialist II, US GAAP, NetSuite

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage inquiries through phone and email, specifically resolving issues related to invoices, payments, statements, and account balances.

• Efficiently and accurately process a significant volume of accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Adhere to guidelines regarding account reconciliations, troubleshooting, and escalating issues as necessary.

• Provide courteous, professional, and timely responses to customer emails and calls.

• Reconcile bank statements and pinpoint discrepancies.

• Prepare and maintain precise accounting reports and documentation.

• Take ownership of account reconciliations during month-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal accounting controls.

• Keep informed on company policies and procedures relevant to accounting practices.

• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

• Achieve or surpass performance targets for associated KPIs.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of products, services, and processes by engaging in training programs and continuous learning initiatives.

• Collaborate with other departments as required.

• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards customers and colleagues at all times.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a general accounting position.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Exceptional data entry and mathematical abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is advantageous.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
