• Operate within the framework of the UNESCO and the Italian Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the UNESCO “World Water Assessment Programme – WWAP” by executing tasks related to communication, knowledge creation, capacity building, and event support concerning water and gender.
• Create and disseminate original content across social media platforms, ensuring the visibility of WWAP activities and publications.
• Aid in the creation of publication and training materials pertinent to water and gender.
• Provide support for the preparation and documentation of gender and water events, both online and in-person.
• A master's degree from a university in a relevant area such as environment, hydrology, or other related natural sciences; social sciences.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally within the realms of freshwater and gender-focused initiatives with an emphasis on gender-responsive indicators.
• Proven experience in capacity development activities concerning water and gender equality, social inclusion, and disaggregated water data.
• Strong IT skills.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to collaborate within a team, foster networks, and engage in participatory processes.
• Proficient command of English along with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
