Gen AI Engineer – Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Wiremind's innovative GenAI team under the guidance of our Lead GenAI Engineer.

• Assist in the development of features powered by LLM to enable airlines and railways to enhance their pricing and operational strategies.

• Engage in systematic evaluations, iterative enhancements, model selection, and organized experimentation.

• Create and execute experiments to assess various methodologies.

• Participate in prompt engineering through methodical testing and refinement processes.

• Establish evaluation frameworks and metrics that align with expert preferences.

• Conduct benchmarking of LLM models to identify the best cost/performance balance.

• Examine failure modes and edge scenarios in LLM outputs.

• Document and disseminate findings to the wider engineering and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program in computer science or data science.

• Proficient in Python programming with experience in structured projects.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs (through personal projects, coursework, or hackathons) and a desire to expand knowledge.

• Solid understanding of key machine learning principles and evaluation metrics.

• Genuine interest in utilizing AI to address real-world business challenges in production settings.

• Strong analytical capabilities with a passion for iterative experimentation.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with best practices in prompt engineering (Nice-to-have).

• Interest in revenue management, pricing, or optimization issues (Nice-to-have).
