Game Linguist – ZHCN to EN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive game localization that includes in-game user interface, narratives, character dialogues, marketing content, and linguistic quality assurance.

• Enhancing narratives, adapting across cultures, and engaging in creative brainstorming sessions with game development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent experience with extensive translation training).

• At least 2 years of translation experience alongside a college degree.

• Over 5 years of translation experience (degree not mandatory).

• A translation certification from a recognized governmental authority.

• Practical experience in game localization and proficiency in English at a native or near-native level.
