Game Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create top-notch slot games from initial concept through to release.

• Work closely with game designers, artists, animators, server developers, and QA teams.

• Integrate visual assets into the game engine while optimizing for performance and memory consumption.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and foster creativity.

• Offer mentorship and technical support to junior developers and artists.

• Maintain adherence to best practices and organizational discipline to ensure timely delivery.

• Participate in internal competence centers and innovation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing video slot games.

• Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• At least 3 years of practical experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or comparable game engines.

• Background in a role that bridges development and art (such as Technical Artist).

• Proficient in Spine, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Animate.

• Good grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, and game programming patterns including Game Loop, Update Method, and State.

• Familiarity with design patterns like MVC, Singleton, Observer, Decorator, Chain of Responsibility, and Abstract Factory.

• Understanding of QA/QC processes, including test cases and test suites.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Advantageous: Experience in shader development (GLSL or similar).

• Expertise in optimizing 2D graphics, animations, and rendering workflows.

• Experience in developing crash games.

• Capability to create tools and pipelines to enhance collaboration between developers and artists.

• A portfolio or personal projects that demonstrate both technical and artistic capabilities.
