Fungi and Climate Project Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in formulating our interdisciplinary strategy and oversee the execution and delivery of the project.

• Collaborate across organizations to establish a cohesive project identity and strategy.

• Organize and monitor project activities, milestones, and deliverables.

• Provide progress reports on grants to funders.

• Oversee the strategic communications of the project.

• Develop, pursue, and sustain strategic relationships with key partners.

• Handle high-level administrative responsibilities, including preparing minutes and executive summaries.

• Collaborate closely with the core team and with teams at the Fungi Foundation and SPUN.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the climate and/or biodiversity sector.

• Demonstrated success in project leadership and delivery.

• Outstanding communication and networking abilities.

• Capability to customize messaging for varied audiences.

• Senior-level presence: able to represent organizational strategy credibly in high-level discussions independently.

• Self-motivated, independent, and driven.

• Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate intricate policy and scientific concepts.

• Native English speaker, with proficiency in Spanish.

• Fungal knowledge is appreciated but not mandatory.
