Funds Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct simulated negotiations and redlining exercises related to investment fund documentation.

• Analyze and assess AI-generated responses to legal scenarios pertaining to funds, offering comprehensive feedback to enhance model accuracy and legal reasoning.

• Create structured evaluation frameworks, scoring rubrics, and quality standards for evaluating AI performance on legal tasks related to fund formation and transactions.

• Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams in product development, research, and engineering to optimize AI training datasets, legal guidelines, and best practices.

• Utilize practical legal judgment to identify contractual risks, drafting challenges, and negotiation techniques within intricate fund documentation.

• Provide subject matter expertise to enhance AI systems aimed at legal research, contract review, and transactional analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction in the U.S.

• At least **2 years of experience** in the **Investment Funds** practice area of a corporate law firm.

• Strong knowledge of investment fund documentation, including **Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Subscription Agreements, and Side Letters**.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to convert legal expertise into structured, actionable feedback.

• Proven interest in legal innovation and emerging technologies.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
