• Enhance revenue according to targets set by the supervisor and the National Development Team.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and committees for fundraising events.
• Travel frequently within the designated service area and attend the annual Chapter Staff Meeting.
• Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives by ensuring that all fundraising events are welcoming and accessible to diverse populations.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Development Team to achieve significant revenue growth for each fundraising event.
• Plan, oversee, and execute all AFSP signature fundraising events: Out of the Darkness Community Walks, Campus Walks, Construction Hikes for Hope, and other fundraising activities within the assigned market to achieve revenue targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Demonstrated success in generating significant revenue for nonprofit health organizations through peer-to-peer fundraising events.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in nonprofit special event fundraising.
• Prior experience in volunteer development and management, overseeing multiple fundraising committees with at least 2-3 members each.
• Proven ability to secure monetary sponsorships.
• Must have technology literacy skills and the capability to utilize social media platforms for enhanced marketing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 22 PTO days (including vacation, sick, wellness, and personal days) during your first year of employment (5 additional days in the second year).
