Funding Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with the Funding Manager, Funding Supervisor, Branch Manager, Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (RTS), and other office support staff.

• Oversees the entire funding transaction cycle.

• Manages the transaction cycle time (TCT).

• Collects any necessary missing demographic information.

• Confirms client benefits and coverage.

• Assembles and reviews documentation for the funding package.

• Maintains regular communication with Physicians, Therapists, RTSs, and Clients.

• Investigates and updates payer requirements as needed.

• Keeps the client informed throughout the entire process.

• Follows up with payer sources as necessary.

• Performs pre-purchase quality assurance checks.

• Conducts pre-delivery verification processes.

• Coordinates with other funding departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding is preferred.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
