Funding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise and enhance transactions throughout each phase of the funding process, working collaboratively across departments to eliminate obstacles, maintain progress, and consistently meet daily funding and conversion objectives with accuracy and speed.

• Engage and communicate with ISO sales representatives and decision-makers to facilitate funding opportunities.

• Actively reach out to ISO sales representatives to secure deals through exceptions to standard deal terms.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to our ISO partners; taking ownership of issue resolution and fostering trust while instilling a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.

• Collaborate effectively with the underwriting team to drive profitable volumes.

• Manage the flow of deal requirements and assist in keeping the sales pipeline progressing in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Respond with urgency to ensure prompt replies to requests from both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales, deal desk, or analogous role.

• Proven experience managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communications, including calls, emails, texts, and chats. Familiarity with managing a high volume of short sales cycle transactions is essential.

• Experience meeting task volume and response time metrics.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proactive individual with excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Exceptional phone etiquette while engaging with both internal and external partners.

• Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of successfully navigating challenging conversations and objections.
