This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enforce functional testing standards across various products and releases that support Client Services delivery, which includes defining the testing approach, scope, entry and exit criteria, and release readiness gates.
• Plan, execute, and manage functional testing for releases, encompassing test scheduling, ensuring environment readiness, setting up test data, and providing daily progress reports.
• Create and maintain test artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and both manual and automated test scripts, ensuring robust coverage of trade promotion and price planning workflows. There is a strong emphasis on increasing automated testing.
• Collaborate with Client Services to facilitate client-facing testing activities, which include UAT planning, collecting test evidence, triaging defects, and validating release notes, ensuring that the delivered functionality aligns with contractual and business expectations.
• Define and review requirements by analyzing user stories and functional specifications early on to identify any gaps or ambiguities, ensuring that requirements are testable and measurable.
• Work alongside Product Management and Engineering to convert requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria, validating edge cases that are common in trade promotion and price planning processes (including timing, eligibility, hierarchy, customer/channel rules, and calculations).
• Lead test automation initiatives by developing and refining UI/API test suites and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to safeguard critical trade promotion workflows and mitigate regression risks.
• Manage defect resolution by overseeing triage and prioritization with stakeholders, supplying clear reproduction steps and impact analyses, verifying fixes, and conducting root-cause analysis using Jira (or similar tools) to avert future occurrences.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience is required).
• Proven domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), with a strong emphasis on Revenue Growth Management and Optimization (RGM/RGO), trade promotion, and price planning and analysis.
• Excellent business partnering abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A strong focus on product delivery and achieving business outcomes.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; capable of performing root-cause analysis and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
