Functional Solution Architect, Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functional configuration of Workday Financial modules.

• Collect, assess, and convert finance stakeholder requirements into Workday designs.

• Create and execute comprehensive financial business processes within Workday.

• Develop and sustain Workday business process configurations along with functional design documentation.

• Generate and validate Workday reports (Basic & Advanced) to fulfill finance reporting requirements.

• Organize and assist with UAT, testing, and production deployment activities.

• Offer post-go-live support, including troubleshooting and system enhancements.

• Collaborate with finance teams to pinpoint process improvements and guarantee adherence to financial policies and reporting standards.

• Relay status updates, risks, and recommendations to project leadership and finance stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Financials.

• Proven experience in configuring business processes and functional designs within Workday Financial modules.

• Functional expertise in one or more areas including: Banking and Settlement, Budgets, Business Asset Accounting, Business Asset Tracking, Cash Management, Common Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Miscellaneous Payments, Organizations and Roles, Supplier Accounts, and Suppliers.

• Strong understanding of finance operations and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).

• Experience in creating and managing Workday Basic & Advanced reports.

• Established capability to work closely with business users and stakeholders to transform requirements into system solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in supporting UAT, testing, production deployments, and delivering post-go-live support.

• Workday Financials functional certification is a plus.

• Background in end-to-end Workday implementation or support projects.

• Familiarity with multi-entity and multi-currency financial environments.
