Functional Documentation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and organize the inventory of design specifications across all business lines to ensure completeness and clarity.

• Develop a systematic documentation strategy to regularly present and report progress to GDIT and FMSG leadership.

• Evaluate the accuracy of design specifications by updating outdated information, correcting business rules, scenarios, and assumptions, as well as identifying and incorporating any missing elements into the documents.

• Collaborate closely with HIGLAS subject matter experts to clarify and refine the content of design documentation, including validating the content against the code base.

• Work together with stakeholders as necessary to validate business requirements.

• Revise and restructure design specifications to comply with CMMI Level V standards.

• Conduct peer reviews with subject matter experts for any updates made to the documentation.

• Manage version control for updated documents, ensuring they are accurate and appropriately checked into the repository.

• Support HIGLAS EPICs and production activities while engaging subject matter experts for essential inputs and updates related to documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with HIGLAS and Oracle Federal Financials, including FV, GL, AP, AR, and PO.

• Familiarity with HIGLAS interfaces and extensions using Oracle SQL / PL-SQL.

• Understanding of Fee for Service Medicare business processes.

• Knowledge of Administrative Project Accounting.

• Awareness of the Centers for Consumer Information and insurance oversight.

• Understanding of user activities for Medicare Administrative contractors.
