Fullstack Software Engineer – Commerce, Partner Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement full-stack solutions and APIs tailored for high-scale B2B commerce partnerships throughout the APAC region.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to customize portal features, ensuring smooth integration with regional payment and distribution standards.

• Utilize LLMs and AI tools to produce production-grade code that speeds up the delivery of requirements specific to partners.

• Create and sustain gRPC and REST-based microservices that support real-time travel inventory and fintech ancillaries.

• Operate independently to tackle intricate technical challenges while maintaining effective asynchronous communication with global stakeholders.

• Rapidly iterate on engineering enhancements that improve the scalability and performance of our B2B travel ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React and TypeScript to create highly localized, high-performance web interfaces for complex e-commerce settings.

• Proficiency in Scala and distributed systems, or a keen interest in applying functional programming to large-scale backend architectures.

• A commercial mindset that emphasizes regional product-market fit and the unique user behaviors present in APAC digital ecosystems.

• Expertise in AI-driven workflows, including the use of LLMs for development and the implementation of autonomous AI systems to enhance partner support.

• Practical knowledge of GCP and cloud-native practices, particularly in addressing the latency and data residency needs of international partnerships.

• Strong technical adaptability and the ability to confidently navigate unfamiliar codebases to deliver impactful features under tight commercial timelines.
