Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance full-stack applications utilizing Kotlin/Java alongside contemporary front-end technologies.

• Construct and uphold scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs.

• Develop and refine user interfaces emphasizing usability, performance, and overall customer experience.

• Architect and implement asynchronous integrations leveraging Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ.

• Play a role in the advancement of microservices architecture and distributed applications.

• Generate automated unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend components.

• Model, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases effectively.

• Implement and oversee database migration processes using Liquibase, Flyway, or comparable tools.

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications utilizing observability tools, logs, and distributed tracing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline technical and functional solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, refinement sessions, and architectural discussions.

• Contribute to enhancing CI/CD pipelines and the adoption of software engineering best practices.

• Develop top-notch full-stack solutions for essential systems.

• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and performant.

• Advance architecture based on microservices principles.

• Implement system integrations using messaging frameworks.

• Guarantee software quality through automated testing approaches.

• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and overall database performance.

• Ensure secure procedures for versioning and database migrations.

• Monitor production applications to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of architecture, code quality, and development methodologies.

• Support the progression of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java 17+.

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Expertise in REST API development.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.

• Skills in query and index optimization.

• Experience in automated testing (both unit and integration).

• Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and design patterns.

• Proficient with Liquibase, Flyway, or similar migration tools.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of observability practices (logging, tracing, troubleshooting).

• Familiarity with tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, Sentry, or their equivalents.

• Competence in Docker.

• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Proficient in React.

• Knowledgeable in TypeScript.

• Experience in developing single-page applications (SPA).

• Ability to consume REST APIs effectively.

• Skills in state management and componentization.

• Experience in front-end automated testing.

• Awareness of responsive design principles and user experience concepts.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
