This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile and web applications for innovative banking products and services.

• Engage in the entire software lifecycle: technical design, coding, automated testing, deployment, and support.

• Integrate banking systems and services using modern technologies such as C#, Java, Quarkus, Node.js, and Cloud platforms (Azure).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

• Adopt and advocate for best practices in secure development and a DevSecOps approach.

• Apply software engineering principles to achieve clean, reusable, and easily maintainable code.

• Actively contribute to agile planning (Scrum/Kanban) and task estimation.

• Research and implement new technologies aimed at modernizing digital banking.

• Participate in test automation, continuous integration, and deployment on Azure.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience developing Fullstack solutions for digital banking, fintech, or technology companies.

• Advanced knowledge of C# and/or Java, with proven experience in modern frameworks (Quarkus, Node.js, .NET Core, etc.).

• Experience in developing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) and responsive web applications.

• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment in Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, etc.).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and the use of SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

• Proactive approach, autonomy, and a results-oriented mindset focused on high impact.

• Desirable: previous experience in banking, fintech, or projects with a high degree of security and regulatory compliance.
