Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design and development of services aimed at providing an outstanding user experience, fully owning your responsibilities and actively aiding in the creation of high-quality products.

• Frontend: React and TypeScript are your core competencies. You utilize Hooks, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and Zod to transform mockups into sleek, high-performing, and accessible interfaces. You implement tests using Vitest and Playwright.

• Backend: You develop and support Lambda functions, ECS services, and REST APIs through API Gateway. You work with SNS and SQS for asynchronous processes, expertly navigating between Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, understanding precisely when to employ each.

• Performance & Quality: You implement best practices, actively engage in code reviews, and monitor errors with Sentry. Your code is resilient under substantial traffic.

• Continuous R&D: You continuously seek knowledge beyond your current expertise. You explore new technologies and foster innovation within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of fullstack experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development.

• Proficient in TypeScript, both on the client-side and server-side—ensuring clean types, maintainable code, and avoiding any random 'any' types.

• Familiar with AWS: practical experience with at least several of the following services: Lambda, SQS/SNS, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB.

• Solid foundation in databases: PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization come naturally to you.

• Attention to detail: you focus on polished UI, optimized queries, and comprehensive tests that cover significant edge cases.

• Ownership mindset: you proactively identify issues before they escalate, complete tasks efficiently, and take pride in your contributions.

• Bonus points for having Python skills in your toolkit.

• A curiosity about cloud infrastructure and a desire to develop in that area—our infrastructure utilizes AWS CDK in TypeScript, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to Infrastructure as Code as you acclimate.

• Knowledge of Firebase (Authentication, Remote Config).

• Experience with accessibility testing tools (such as Lighthouse or Axe).
