This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Develop and deploy full-stack, AI-driven products, internal platforms, prototypes, and production applications.
• Design and create agentic AI applications, LLM workflows, RAG systems, document-processing pipelines, and applied AI solutions.
• Convert ambiguous business, product, or client requirements into scalable technical systems.
• Create modern frontend experiences using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Build backend systems and APIs utilizing Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Django, or comparable technologies.
• Design data models across relational, graph, vector, and hybrid database architectures.
• Integrate commercial APIs, open-source models, automation platforms, and third-party tools.
• Develop asynchronous workflows, internal dashboards, admin tools, approval systems, and automation infrastructure.
• Experiment with various frameworks and technologies while balancing speed and scalability.
• Contribute to Infinity Commons, shared internal libraries, and Gravity, the software factory platform.
• Collaborate with founders, product leaders, senior engineers, and clients to identify problems and deliver solutions.
• Occasionally engage with portfolio companies or client teams to assist with launches, remove obstacles, or create zero-to-one products.
• Proven experience working directly with stakeholders and customers to translate business challenges into effective solutions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of delivering real products for actual users.
• Proficiency in Python and experience in building AI-powered applications, workflows, or systems.
• Full-stack development experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in quickly building prototypes, proof-of-concepts, MVPs, or zero-to-one products.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, AI APIs, agent frameworks, and evaluating system quality and performance.
• Experience with API integration, cloud services, databases, open-source tools, and automation platforms.
• Strong systems thinking ability and a knack for designing scalable solutions without unnecessary complexity.
• Capability to translate non-technical, product, or client requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Comfort in dealing with ambiguity, making trade-offs, and taking ownership of projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant technical experience may involve React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Django, agentic workflows, RAG, GraphRAG, embeddings, vector databases, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, BigQuery, Supabase, Pinecone, Weaviate, AWS, GCP, REST APIs, webhooks, n8n, Temporal, authentication, permissions, role-based access, asynchronous workflows, observability, and distributed processing.
• Bonus: familiarity with AI agents, reliable production systems, RAG, GraphRAG, vector databases, knowledge retrieval, document-processing pipelines, internal platforms, startups, client-facing engineering, regulated industries, open-source AI/ML, STEM, data science, or quantitative engineering.
