Full Time Virtual Teacher, Physics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide live, on-camera synchronous instruction in physics for five or more hours daily on all scheduled instructional days.

• Develop an engaging and well-organized virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize student performance data to tailor instruction, identify educational gaps, and modify teaching methodologies.

• Offer prompt feedback on student assignments and keep precise student records.

• Foster relationships with students and their families through proactive communication.

• Work collaboratively with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality support for students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

• Valid New Mexico state teaching license in Physics for grades 6-12.

• Experience in teaching within virtual and/or face-to-face environments.

• Comfortable with the challenges of a live online classroom setting.

• Capable of teaching live on camera for five or more consecutive hours each instructional day.

• Practical experience with online learning platforms, virtual teaching tools, and standard office software.

• Ability to analyze student performance data and leverage it to enhance live instruction.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled in time management to handle a complete student caseload remotely.

• Dedicated to maintaining certification and staying updated on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.

• Open to assuming new responsibilities as dictated by business needs.
