Full Stack Software Developer, Security Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain the software for the IOTA suite of tools;

• Write, update, and manage the software documentation for the IOTA suite of tools;

• Engage in team meetings as required by the Lead Developer (LD), Service Delivery Manager (SDM), and Project Manager (PM);

• Update the development backlog system with progress and comments as necessary;

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold nationality of one of the NATO Nations;

• Exceptional command of spoken and written English;

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development environments;

• Demonstrated knowledge of NATO Tactical Data Links (Link 16, Link 11, Link 22), FFT (FFI, NFFI), and other military or civilian interoperability standards for messaging and data exchange;

• Extensive experience with NATO Tactical Data Links data connectivity and quality monitoring techniques;

• Proven experience with the installation and maintenance of NATO Tactical Data Links Enabling Services in operational environments and exercises;

• Proven expertise in Front-end development, with solid knowledge of technologies such as Angular 17 or higher, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript;

• Proven expertise in Back-end development, with strong knowledge of technologies such as Java 17 or higher, Spring Framework 5.3 or higher, and Spring Boot 3;

• Proven experience in developing (near) real-time RESTful web systems using protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, WS, WSS, and SOAP;

• Proven experience and proficiency in writing automated testing for software modules (JUnit/Component, Functional, and Integration);

• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, Git, Maven, and Jenkins;

• Proven understanding of TCP/UDP/IP protocols, networking concepts, and the ability to utilize networking tools (SSH, Terminal).
