Full Stack Front-End Developer, Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, develop, and modify systems and application software on an enterprise scale.

• Strategize the deployment of systems and development while ensuring compliance with software standards.

• Assess hardware/software interfaces, operational needs, and overall system attributes.

• Document the testing processes and maintenance of system corrections.

• Create and refine Single Page Applications utilizing TypeScript and contemporary JavaScript frameworks such as React.

• Spearhead initiatives to modernize user experience with responsive, accessible, and intuitive interfaces.

• Develop workflow interfaces and automate business processes via SharePoint Framework, SharePoint APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Power Apps, and Power Automate integrations.

• Design and create RESTful APIs and service layers for front-end and back-end integration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement rapid iterative enhancements in an Agile environment.

• Employ secure application development methodologies to satisfy DoD security and compliance guidelines.

• Execute unit and integration testing and support comprehensive quality assurance.

• Create documentation for technical solutions, user guides, and system configurations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support mission objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and the development of responsive UI/UX.

• Proficient in modern state management techniques (Context API, TanStack Query, Redux, or similar).

• Familiarity with REST API development and integration with front-end applications.

• Strong understanding of Agile and iterative development methodologies.

• Experience translating business processes into software requirements and solutions.

• Active Secret clearance at the time of consideration, to be maintained subsequently.

• Must be available during Eastern Time Zone core business hours.

• For Software Development Analyst II: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 0 years with a Master's degree; or a high school diploma/equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience.

• For Software Development III: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, PnPjs, SharePoint REST API, Microsoft Graph API, SPFx, and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Preferred: full-stack development experience with .NET, Python (Flask/Django), or similar backend technologies.

• Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end tooling, including TypeScript, Redux/Context API, CSS-in-JS, and responsive design frameworks.

• Preferred: experience in modernizing legacy applications and implementing secure enterprise-grade solutions in DoD or federal environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

• Preferred: experience in SAFe Agile environments, including PI planning and Scrum/Kanban ceremonies.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Capability to maintain a secure home-work environment that meets company and government requirements.

• Availability to work during assigned East Coast core business hours.

• Capacity to remain stationary and utilize standard computer equipment for extended durations.

• Proficient in effective communication during virtual meetings, briefings, and secure collaboration settings.

• Ability to review and interpret digital data with high attention to detail.

• Occasionally able to lift documents or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
