Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• This position is for one of the clients of Weekday.

• Salary range: Rs 2,000,000 - Rs 8,000,000 (i.e., INR 20 - 80 LPA).

• Minimum Experience Required: 5 years.

• Work Location: Remote (India).

• Employment Type: Full-time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full-cycle delivery: overseeing the complete process from requirement gathering, design, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, to continuous iteration.

• Backend (primary technologies – Node.js/TypeScript/NestJS):

• Design and create RESTful APIs; implement OAuth/JWT authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and rate limiting features.

• Develop high-performance services utilizing caching (Redis), message queues/streams (RabbitMQ/Kafka), and webhooks.

• Build resilient and observable microservices that incorporate retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, and backpressure handling mechanisms.

• Data Management:

• Design database schemas and manage migrations (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB); improve performance through indexing, query optimization, and partitioning.

• Effectively apply Redis for caching, distributed locking, and temporary data storage.

• Frontend (supporting role – React/TypeScript):

• Create and maintain accessible, responsive user interfaces; handle routing and forms; utilize effective state management tools (React Query/Zustand/Redux).

• CI/CD:

• Conduct builds, testing, security scans, SonarQube quality gates, and deployments (blue/green/canary) with automated rollback procedures.

• Security & Quality Assurance:

• Employ SAST/DAST tools, ensure dependency integrity, follow OWASP best practices, conduct thorough code reviews, and uphold strict secret management.

• Observability:

• Monitor logs, metrics, and traces (Sentry, Grafana/Prometheus); configure actionable alerts and establish service-level objectives (SLOs).

• Scaling & Performance Optimization:

• Enhance throughput, minimize latency, and optimize memory usage; fine-tune the Node.js event loop and connection pooling; improve SSR/Next.js performance when applicable; plan capacity and manage costs effectively.

• AI-first Workflow:

• Leverage Cursor, Copilot, and LLM-based code reviewers to assist with coding, testing, and pull request feedback, while ensuring prompt quality, determinism, and secret security.
