Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and design the next generation of Stripe products to satisfy the expanding demands of our company and clients for years to come.

• Diagnose and resolve critical production issues across various services and multiple layers of the stack.

• Guide and mentor engineers to facilitate their professional growth.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization to implement new features at scale while enhancing internal engineering standards, tools, and processes.

• Effectively collaborate within a distributed and hybrid team, fostering open communication and strong relationships with colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–10+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships or co-ops).

• Proficient coding skills in any programming language.

• Strong collaboration abilities and the capability to work across different workstreams within your team, contributing to the success of your peers.

• Capacity to excel with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Enthusiasm for working as a generalist across diverse technologies and stacks to tackle challenges and satisfy both internal and external users.

• Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud-based services (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, Docker and Kubernetes, cloud services such as AWS, etc.).
